Gluten Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
So, We decided to make gluten-free cream of mushroom soup.
You know, for health. Or maybe just so we could feel slightly superior while slurping something creamy. It went from innocent powder to primordial soup monster in approximately 0.3 seconds.
But seriously…it is DELICIOUS!
Suddenly, you've got a spread so addictive, you'll be guarding it with your life. Expect spontaneous dance parties in your kitchen. Prepare for an overwhelming urge to share (or not!). Side effects may include uncontrollable laughter, cheesy jokes, and an insatiable need for crackers.
You've been warned. Proceed with delicious caution. Your cream cheese will never be the same.
Luckily, we wrestled it into submission (a whisk helps) and the resulting soup was actually... delicious! Seriously, even my gluten-loving friends couldn't tell the difference. So, moral of the story? Embrace the GF, fear the GF, but definitely make this soup. Just maybe have a backup plan in case yours looks like it's plotting world domination. You've been warned!
